History
In April 1986, Anjo Paints and Solvents was founded. Beto Colombo, in a small rented warehouse under the brand name of "Colombo, Indústria e Comércio de Massa Plástica" started the production of Plastic Body Filler with the philosophy to be better day by day.
In 1987, now under the brand name Anjo, the production of Plastic Body Filler reached 20 tons monthly. The company changes the production plant to the backyards of the director house, a warehouse of 144 square/mt.
Something that seemed to be a dream turn to be real in 1993, when Anjo becomes leader in plastic body filler in the domestic market. In this year, with the increase of the production, the change of the production facilities were essential to its continuous growth.
In 1994, the plastic Body Filler production was more than 252 tons/monthly, taking definitively the leadership of the domestic market. With the brand name consolidated, the company started to invest in the production of thinners and solvents, turning the brand name Anjo as referential of quality.
With the increase of production, Anjo again increased its installations investing in new equipments and believes even more in a administration of partnerships with professionals , clients and suppliers.
Anjo Paints and Solvents conquered in April 1999, the certification of the Norm ISO 9002, recognising the international standard of quality Anjo products and services. In 2002 we were again certified with the norm ISO 9001/ Version 2000.
In 2000, the company started the production of thinner for the flexography ink paints, turning to a new market, complying to each clients with products with specific needs.
In 2002, the company inaugurated another plant unit. In this way the decorative line has its own plant, also located in Criciuma (SC). In May 2004, Anjo launch the Industrial Line products. The company has also three(03) branches, in São Paulo(SP),Aparecida de Goiânia(GO) and in Recife(PE).
Anjo was awarded with several prizes over the 20 years of history. The ADVB awarded Anjo four times with the prize Top of the Marketing and also with the prize Empresa Cidadã. The magazine Exame recognised Anjo twice as one of the 30 inovative companies in Brazil, the Magazine Isto É Dinheiro mentioned Anjo as the most innovative and better quality in the chemical and petrochemical sector in the Brazilian market and the CNBB awarded Anjo as a company with social responsibility with the prize Ser Social.
This way, Anjo is a brand name for four products line : Automotive Line, Decorative Line, Printing Ink Line and Industrial Line, turning the company into one of the biggest and more important in the paint and solvents market.
