Futsal

The Project Anjos do Futsal that has the main objectives to keep the children and youth away from drugs and violence , teach the futsal techniques and encourage the practice of this sport. This project started in 2001. Today we have 480 boys, youth and young from Criciuma and region that are divided in eleven groups, located in Criciuma(SC), Cocal do Sul(SC), Forquilhinha (SC), Içara(SC), Nova Veneza(SC) and Treviso (SC). The project holds also a team for the youth and u-youth that play official competitions representing Anjo Paints and Solvents and the Criciuma municipality in SC and Brazil.

The Projects Anjo do Futsal was awarded by ADVB with the prize EMPRESA CIDADÃ and by the CNBB through Pastoral da Criança with the prize SER SOCIAL, represented by Dra. Zilda Arns.

Anjos do Futsal is a project that search to bring results that can hardly being measure. Its is difficult to translate in words the small and big transformation that this project is reaching. These boys are motivated to study, has better performance at school, better relationship with their colleagues and family, incentive the practice of sport among other benefits.

Nowdays, some youth athletes that started in the project are playing in many European teams and several national teams.

The youth and u-youth teams of the project Anjos do Futsal are winners. They conquered important titles in each categories among them the second place in the national futsal championship, taking the name Anjo Paints and Solvents and the town of Criciuma to the national scene.
